Does not work

Running Mac OSX 10.6.8 on my MBP and it just does not work. Hangs on authorizing.. doesnt do anything but tells me its in the process of authorizing... nothing...
My credentials are correct. I see in my twitter account (via webpage) that the app is authorized. This is seriously broken.
It says above that the app works w/ 10.6 or later... or does it?
Wish me luck with getting my money back.
